THE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Shipping Policy, our Refund and Returns Policy and our Privacy Policy, are the rules for using grimblecorp.com and buying from our store. By placing an order you agree to them. They are written in plain English on purpose.

WHO WE ARE, AND WHAT IS STORY

This store is operated under the name Grimble ("we", "us"). Our checkout shows it as Grimble Corporation, and card statements show GRIMBLE.

Grimble is a satire brand. The "Grimble Corporation", its founder, staff, departments, history, places and events, and the other characters and stories on our website and social channels belong to the Grimble world, which we write.

The Items we sell are real physical products. Each product page gives a plain description and, where available, the size and contents. Those facts are meant to be accurate.

Product names, "fine print", tickers, slogans, quotations from characters and all other in-story text belong to that world. They are not statements of fact about any product, not terms of sale, not warranties or guarantees, and not endorsements by anyone. Wherever in-story text seems to say something about prices, shipping, returns, guarantees or your rights, these Terms and our policies are what actually apply.

WHO CAN BUY

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must place the order or give permission. We sell only to customers in the areas listed in our Shipping Policy.

ORDERS

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email confirms that we received it. The contract is formed when we dispatch the Item.
• We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, if an Item is unavailable, a price or description on the site was wrong, the payment looks fraudulent, the delivery address cannot be served, or the order breaks these Terms. If we cancel, we refund everything you paid for the cancelled Items.
• We may limit quantities per customer.

PRODUCT INFORMATION AND IMAGES

Our product pages can show two kinds of images:

• supplier photographs, which show the product as supplied; and
• Grimble Studio images, which are illustrations we make (some with AI image tools) to show an Item in our house style. They are art, not photographs of the Item you will receive.

Colors, packaging and small details can differ from any image. The written size, quantity and contents on the product page take priority over every image. If an Item you receive is materially different from its written description, our Refund and Returns Policy treats it as a wrong Item.

Many Items are made by other manufacturers and arrive in the manufacturer's packaging, which may carry the manufacturer's brand. Brand names that belong to other companies remain theirs, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless we say so.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

• Prices are in US dollars. Standard shipping is free. Sales tax, if any, is shown at checkout before you pay.
• If an Item is listed at a clearly wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you, even after confirming it.
• Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify and its payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
• Charges appear on your card statement as GRIMBLE.

SHIPPING, OWNERSHIP AND RISK

Shipping times and delivery problems are covered in our Shipping Policy. Ownership of an Item passes to you when we dispatch it. The risk of loss stays with us until the Item is delivered to you.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds are covered in our Refund and Returns Policy. If we cannot dispatch on time, our Shipping Policy explains your right to cancel for a full refund.

USING ITEMS SAFELY

• Follow the instructions, age grades and warnings on the product page and the packaging.
• Some Items look like food but are not food. Keep them away from young children and anyone who might put them in their mouth.
• Toys with small parts are not for children under 3.
• Skin-care tools: read the instructions, start gently, do not use them on broken, irritated or sunburned skin, and stop if irritation develops. They are grooming tools, not medical devices, and we make no health claims about them.
• Prank and novelty Items are for fun among people who are in on the joke. Use them safely, lawfully and considerately.

GAMES, HUNTS AND CERTIFICATES

Our website includes games, an item hunt and certificates. They are entertainment only. No purchase is needed to play, there are no prizes of any value, and they are not contests or sweepstakes.

OUR CONTENT, AND HOW TO REPORT AN INFRINGEMENT

The text, images, characters, designs and code on grimblecorp.com belong to us or our licensors. You are welcome to share screenshots and links for non-commercial purposes. Please do not copy our content for commercial use without permission.

If you believe something on our site, or an Item we sell, infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, email support@grimblecorp.com with the subject line "IP notice" and include: your name and contact details; the work or mark you believe is infringed; where the material appears (a link is best); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We review every notice and remove or change material where appropriate.

MESSAGES AND REVIEWS

When you email us or send photographs, you let us use them to handle your request. If we publish customer reviews, we will publish genuine reviews only, including negative ones. We will never write, buy or invent reviews, never import ratings from other sellers, marketplaces or suppliers, and never show a rating earned by a different product.

USING THE WEBSITE

Please do not misuse the website: no attempts to break its security, overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. The 3D world and its Help Desk are part of the story. For real help with an order, email support@grimblecorp.com.

WARRANTIES

Items come with the warranties the law provides where you live. Unless a product page or the packaging says otherwise, we do not add a separate written warranty; any manufacturer's warranty is given by the manufacturer. Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how we handle Items that arrive damaged, defective or wrong.

The website itself (including the 3D world, games and Help Desk) is provided as it is and as available. We do our best to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.

LIMITS ON OUR LIABILITY

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim about an Item is limited to the amount you paid for that Item. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here takes away consumer rights that cannot be waived.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

Talk to us first. Most problems are solved quickly by email at support@grimblecorp.com. Please give us 30 days to put things right before starting a formal claim.

Card disputes: please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; it is usually faster for you. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer. If a dispute is opened, we will give the payment processor the order and delivery records it asks for.

Governing law and courts: these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Claims will be heard in the courts of Texas, except that either of us may bring a claim in a small claims court that has jurisdiction. This does not take away any protection the consumer laws of your own country or state give you.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

THE REST OF THE SMALL PRINT

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These Terms and the policies they mention are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site and buying from the store. We may transfer our rights under these Terms to a buyer of the business.
